What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is known as the ‘Yoga of Awareness’. Each class intends to increase your self-awareness, raise your vibration and is about YOU having an experience with a deeper, more expansive and radiant sense of yourself.

What set’s Kundalini Yoga apart from the other Yoga’s?

Kundalini Yoga uses a specific combination of postures, breath, eye-focus, mudra, body-locks and meditation to balance the glandular system, expand our lung capacity, purify the blood and strengthen the nervous system. It helps us elevate and clear our energy so that we can bust through the blocks and live our most radiant, joyful life.  

Each week we will focus on a new Kriya, which simply means a sequence of actions, as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

+ ‘Do I need a Yoga mat?’ You are welcome to bring your own otherwise there are mats you may borrow.

+ ‘Do I need to be flexy?’ Nope.

+ ‘What if I haven’t practiced Yoga before?’ Perfect – time to get cracking and you’re in the right place.

+ ‘What if I’m not good at it?’ Show up and give yourself a chance.

+ ‘What if I don’t want to chant?’ No probs – you can sit and receive, but trust me, you’ll soon be hooked. It’s fun and elevating!
