Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Statement
Live Your Lightwork Pty Ltd, trading as Tracey Spencer, was founded and operates on Wadandi Boodja (country).
We acknowledge and send gratitude to the Wadandi People as the traditional custodians of this country and its waters, as well as to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in wider communities. We pay our respects and honour Elders past, present and emerging.
We believe that every business has the ability to create and contribute to change in the direction of a more equal and compassionate world, and we are committed to playing our part and doing the work required to ensure this. Tracey Spencer is here to serve you no matter your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or ability status.
We are committed to doing the work to learn and action the changes required to build and run a diverse and equitable business with ongoing training and education via books, podcasts, workshops and online programs, and to date have participated in paid learning from Annie Gichuru.
It is our pledge that our community events have a minimum of 25% of the guest panel or supporting speakers who identify as Black, Brown, Indigenous or a Person of Colour. In addition, for any events (in person or online) that Tracey participates in she will ensure she is being included alongside a diverse representation of people.
We are committed to creating in-person and online experiences and programs where all feel safe, seen and welcomed. Tracey will show zero tolerance towards people who express hate speech and hateful behaviour within her online programs, social media pages or in-person events. This includes but is not limited to any bullying, name calling micro-aggressions, or statements that are racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic.
We wish to acknowledge that this is not something we have always gotten right, and for that we apologise. We understand this will be a lifelong journey of unlearning and doing better, and this is our commitment.
